Trisha Goddard's phone alarm went off during an appearance on Thursday's edition of Good Morning Britain. The incident occurred while the presenter, 62, discussed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 's decision to step back from their senior positions in the Royal Family with Dickie Arbiter and Sally Jones on the show. Her alarm rang out while she was midway through a sentence about her thoughts on the couple's decision, which prompted some viewers to brand her 'unprofessional'. Oops: Trisha Goddard's ALARM went off mid-interview as she debated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down from royal duties on Thursday's Good Morning Britain After quickly picking her phone up and turning off the alarm she joked about the error with co-presenters Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid, who apologised as they paused the debate to talk to Lorraine Kelly about her show. During the discussion, Trisha admitted she felt 'physically sick' the racist comments Meghan Markle has received since marrying Prince Harry.

"Southeast Bangladesh is facing the full onslaught of the monsoon season', says Azmat Ulla, the Head of the Bangladesh Office of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). "We are dealing with back-to-back disasters at the moment and the volunteers of the Bangladesh Red Crescent are out in force, helping these stricken communities. " In response to Cyclone Mora, the IFRC and the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) has just launched an emergency appeal of 1. 3 million Swiss francs (1. 3 million US Dollars or 1. 1 million Euros) to provide emergency assistance to 50, 000 people living in three Cox's Bazar, Chittagong and Bandarban. Under the appeal BDRCS staff and volunteers will distribute dry food rations and household items to families affected by the cyclone, together with toolkits to repairing shelters, and cash grants to help restore lost livelihoods. Repairs and improvements will also be made to damaged sanitation facilities and water supply systems.
The former Conservative Party chair in Sevenoaks, southeast of London, is standing, as is Kate Allsop, the town of Mansfield's second directly elected mayor. Many of the other candidates are either very rich or very well connected to the party leadership. Leader of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage speaks onstage on August 27, 2019 in London, England | Leon Neal/Getty Images In a bold attempt to live up to the party's populist credentials, an online application process for wannabe MPs was launched back in June, to which anyone could apply. It is unclear as to how many of the thousands of people who filled in the form and paid the £100 non-refundable deposit got so far as the interview stage, but since writing about it, my inbox has been inundated with emails from angry and disaffected applicants who paid up and heard no more. It seems unlikely that former Bucks Fizz singer Jay Aston, standing in Kensington, or Ken Hodcroft, the former chairman of Hartlepool United Football Club who is hoping to be elected in his home town, were selected on account of online applications.
