UK pub chain JD Wetherspoon is to create 85 new jobs when it opens its fourth pub here - in Swords, north Dublin. he company has spent €2. 8m developing the outlet on the site of an existing pub, previously a school, on the main street in Swords. The pub will be called The Old Borough and "will specialise in real ales, as well as craft and world beers, serving a wide range of different draught ales, as well as bottled beers, including those from local and regional brewers, " Wetherspoon said. The pub's manager Dan Foster said his team "are confident that it will be a great addition to the Swords community. " The company already runs three pubs in Dublin: The Three Tun Tavern in Blackrock, The Forty Foot in Dun Laoghaire and The Great Wood in Blanchardstown.
