Mark Hughes tees off tees at the 1st at Oakmont Credit: MICHAEL HENNINGER S tanding on the members' porch at Oakmont Country Club, overlooking the course, it is difficult to see immediately why it is considered the most difficult in golf. There are no trees, no water hazards and 16 of the 18 holes are dead straight. Yet everyone is in agreement that Oakmont is a merciless bully, tougher than anything else in professional golf. On Thursday the US Open returns to the Pittsburgh club for a record ninth time. This month, Phil Mickelson called it "the hardest golf course we've ever played". T iger Woods said in 2007 – the last time the club staged the tournament – that a 10 handicapper would fail to break 100 around Oakmont. The winning score that year was five over, and on day two the average was 77 – seven over. But if it is hard for the professionals, how tough is Oakmont for an 18-handicap Sunday club golfer? Offered the chance to find out, I found myself standing on the first tee last Thursday – exactly one week before the tournament.

Mandated overtime upwards of 30+ forced hours on top of your already 40 hour schedule. Cons Short breaks, horrible management in any house I've been in Worst lpn hob ever. They never have staff 2 relieve you n they always mandate staff even those who arent posed 2 be mandated. Racist co workers. Heavy meds n teeatments. Cons: Short staffed Constant mandates (expect to work 16+ hours on a regular basis) Management constantly messes with you schedule and will change your days off regardless if it works with your personal life Pros: The Residents never the same. everyday is different. change all the time. both good and bad. I guess that it makes it a good place to work. management is alright. could be better Management sucks if they do not like you. A lot of favoritism. Have to wait months for OT to come through. Love the residents but all in all this job sucks. Youre "just a trainee" when you work here. Benefits are the best. Other than that, its not worth it. They change your shift and pass days often making it hard, and with very short notice.
