The answer to this has been a hard, "No, you can't do that here, " in two interviews and I wonder if this makes me look like I'm trying to get my way or the highway here. I have other questions as well that I'm actually ok with. Not a question I asked, but one is responded to, probably poorly. I was asked that if I were to be offered the job, would I quit taking interviews with other schools. My response was basically that if I felt the situation was right, including a fair salary, that I could commit to that. This is the one I'm really kicking myself about. I feel like I totally put my foot in my mouth on that one. I also had some very unexpected questions I got that I was completely unprepared for. If anybody could give me some examples of responses I would really appreciate it. "What in your opinion is the ideal science curriculum? " Totally threw me.
