Is there anything about my background, my experience, or my resume that makes you think I am not a good fit for the role? This I ask literally to trigger off interviewers. Sometimes, I phrase it politely / positively - Is there anything I should elaborate on so I can convince you that I am a good fit for the role?, but usually when I ask the former, I can see the interviewers go into an emotional frenzy, so uncomfortable to answer it, because clearly, they have not spared even 2 minutes skimming through my 2 page resume, let alone interviewing me to assess whether I am hirable or not. Is there anything that I haven't asked, that other job-seekers may have asked about this role / title / team / organization? Aren't all interviews pitting candidates / strangers against each other, like a competition, only that none of the competitors are aware of the existence of one another? Irrespective of how uncomfortable I may have been guessing the intent and the answer to the interviewer's questions during the interview process, is asking some mildly uncomfortable questions as a job-seeker strictly forbidden, aka, beggars cannot be choosers?

Prepare to ask at least 1 question to the interviewer
Write a personalised "Thank You" email to the interviewers within 24 hours
Interview Don'ts
Speak negatively about former colleagues, supervisors or employers

Lie. If you have to mention about a past mistake (e. g. criminal record or if you were asked to leave by your previous company), be truthful and focus on what you have learnt from the mistake
Bring up or discuss personal issues or family problems.
